Steel Ribbon Tour

Learn about the railway history of the region, starting from the very beginning of the transcontinental railway until modern time when trains can still be seen thundering through the city carrying record loads of goods.  This tour will bring some of the city's most important built landmarks to your attention, a visit to the Thunder Bay Museum awaits and a journey down a long forgotten railway reveals the ghosts of past, including some very colourful characters!

First Nations Heritage Tour

Thunder Bay is built on land belonging to the Ojibwe (Anishnaabe), as a result the region is rich in First Nations culture and many sites and attractions in the region focus on that history.  This half day tour will give you the chance to visit Animikii-Wajiw (translates to Thunderbird Mountain, known in Thunder Bay as Mount McKay) a sacred site to local First Nations, meet some of the wildlife native to the region and view the cool blue waters of Lake Superior.  The tour ends with a visit to the Ahnisnabae Art Gallery where some of the best Woodland Style native art is on display.

Land and Sea Tour

This tour offers a nice combination of the Port Arthur city tour and a 1.5 hour harbour tour with Sail Superior.  It also includes return transportation to your hotel at the end of the sailing portion of the tour.

Full City Tour

This tour is a combination of the Fort William and Port Arthur City Tours and also features a stop at the Thunder Bay Museum.  This tour will give you a complete picture of how this city was built, and why many residents still to this day have their loyalties divided into one side of the city or the other.
